Pillars of the (Graffiti) Community

IMG_3347_2_2.JPG

Although Tags may be interesting in various ways, they are rarely visually arresting by themselves. On my recent trip to BC Silver School, I noticed that the pillars of the (?North) wall had been tagged repeatedly in various colours, and that the final result was quite artistic. The cacophony of colours and patterns are preserved here, and can still be seen at the school - which is well worth the trip for anyone to see before it is torn down.

You might have hit on something, TB. High-pressure wash to rub out corporate scumbags likes of which you mentioned.

Commenting here as there is no place to comment in graffiti out post.
